2 Wash Days 1 Week Post Relaxer Touch-up

You're probably curious about how my touch-up went, well my recap is coming but for now I've recapped my last couple of wash days. Being that I'm one week post these were the easiest wash days I've had in a while. Because I had sweaty hair from working out, I've washed my hair twice since my touch-up.

The first wash happened a couple of days after my touch-up. My hair felt flat and sticky from the product (I think it was the hairspray the stylist used) and sweat. For that wash I did the following:
    • Pre-pooed under my conditioning cap for an hour using Eden BodyWorks Jojoba Monoi Deep Conditioner
    • Cleansed with a moisturizing shampoo and then rinsed with green tea mixed with apple cider vinegar
    • On top of the rinse, I applied Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner and let my hair sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cool water
    • I wrapped my hair with a t-shirt for a couple of hours and an hour before bed my hair was still very damp. So I applied the Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Leave-In Conditioner and grapeseed oil, sat under my hooded dryer for 20 minutes, and then cross wrapped my less damp hair for bedtime
    • In the morning my hair felt and looked smooth and moisturized
    • I styled my hair between this wash and the next by wearing it down, up in a bun, and up in a clip

My second wash day happened this past weekend
      • Pre-pooed with Suave Almond and Shea Butter Conditioner for about 40 minutes while I did a 2.5-mile power walk outside. When I rinsed the conditioner out, my hair felt so good. I've used this conditioner a couple of times now and so far I like it
      • Cleansed with the last of the moisturizing shampoo I had on hand and then rinsed with green tea mixed with apple cider vinegar
      • On top of the rinse, I applied Aphogee 2 Minute Reconstructor and let my hair sit for 2-4 minutes
      • After rinsing with cool water I wrapped my hair with a t-shirt for a few hours
      • Once again my hair was nowhere near dry from air drying so I used my hooded dryer again for about 20 minutes after applying the Eden BodyWorks Coconut Shea Leave-In Conditioner and grapeseed oil
      • The underside of the back of my hair was still very damp, but I was tired so I just cross wrapped it and called it a night
      • The next day my hair looked, felt, and smelled great. My style for the day was a simple ponytail. It's been a while since I rocked a simple ponytail all day
      • I'll probably wear various simple styles throughout the week such as buns, my hair down, and more ponytails
How have you been wearing your hair this week?

        1. Thanks Abena! I didn't realize how thick my hair really is until I put it in a ponytail.
