Using The Elf Camo CC Cream On Oily Skin

Sometimes wearing foundation every day can be a bit much. And when you do a lot of work meetings in front of a camera you find that you feel more comfortable wearing less makeup than you normally would if you were doing meetings in person.

Since I was working from home and spending lots of time outside doing physical activities like walking and sightseeing I didn’t want to wear a full face of makeup every day, especially foundation. What could I use instead?

This led me to try what I would call foundation alternatives like tinted moisturizers and CC creams like the Elf Camo CC Cream.

What is a CC Cream?

I had no idea what a CC Cream was. I had heard about them but never looked into what they actually were and how they were different from a BB Cream, tinted moisturizer, or foundation.

The CC in CC Cream stands for “color corrector” or “color correction” but they do more than that. They can be self-priming, offer buildable coverage, have skincare benefits, and many contain SPF.

About the Elf Camo CC Cream

The Elf Camo CC Cream is the typical CC Cream. It claims to provide
  • Medium-to-full coverage foundation with a natural finish
  • Sun protection with SPF 30
  • Hydrated, smoother, and plumper skin from the peptides, collagen, and niacinamide it contains
