Finding the right primer can be a game-changer for black women with oily skin. Not only do makeup primers help control oil and shine but they also create a smooth canvas for foundations and powders and enhance the longevity of makeup.
I use a makeup primer every single time I apply any foundations or powders on my face. I also will wear makeup primers on the days I don’t wear makeup to help with oil control. I’ve noticed I get shiny and look a mess in pictures when I don’t use a primer.

- Is pore-filling to minimize the appearance of pores.
- Has some hydrating ingredients such as hyaluronic acid to balance moisture levels.
