So in case you have no idea of what I’m talking about Amazon Prime Day is a shopping event specifically for Prime members that happens once a year. During the event, Prime members can find special discounts and deals on types of products. Everything from electronics to housewares to hair care products.
This year, the event is going from July 12-13.

Amazon Prime Day tips
Here are a few tips for getting ready for Amazon Prime Day (or should I say days?)- Prime Day starts in the wee hours of July 12 at 3 a.m. EDT.
- Create a wish list of the products you're interested in and hope to get on Prime day. Not all of the products may end up having a deal but this will help you be more prepared to get the ones that do.
- Download the Amazon app. Not only will you be able to shop the great deals when you're at work but the app gives you a preview of the deals.
- A week prior you can set an alert for the product deals you're interested in by tapping the "Watch this deal" button.
Some of the early access hair care deals I'm seeing are spray bottles which are great for wetting your hair and applying liquid products, straightening brushes, hair dryers, hair care sets with shampoo and conditioner, hair clippers, and more.
Now for a few shopping tips for when the days arrive
- New deals become available every few minutes, so if there are some that will be available later you can add them to your watch list. This way you'll know when the deal is available and can take advantage of it.
- Throughout the day, there will be several deals on flat irons, hair dryers, curlings, shampoos, conditioners, and more hair care products.
