My Top Home Office Decor Essentials Found On Amazon

When I bought my house I was so excited to be able to have a dedicated room for a home office. It was going to be my space for blogging, creating content, and a place for me to do work at home for my full-time job.

Sadly that excitement didn’t translate into decorating. I have done pretty much nothing to set up my home office. I don’t even have a real desk in it yet! (sigh)

Now that I’ve been working from home every day now I’m kinda regretting that and have been looking for ways to add some style and personality to my home office space.

As I’ve been browsing from some office decor essentials, a few items on Amazon have caught my eye and I thought I would share them with you for some home office decor inspiration.

Desk

In my opinion, a good home office desk is compact but has room for all of the necessaries (e.g. laptop, monitor, cell phone, notebook, lamp), has some storage for office supplies, and while it's functional it's also nice to look at.

I feel like this Nathan James Two-Drawer Desk fits the bill. It’s very similar to the desk I bought from Wayfair to use as a vanity table. It’s a bit glam but also simple. Plus it has a few doors for storage. This Tribesigns Computer Desk is also really nice. It’s more rustic but also has some good storage.

Desk organizer

I’m all about having an organized desk so I have a few different organizers on my desk at work. Unfortunately, they aren’t as pretty or nice to look at this Rose Gold Desk Organizer and Blu Monaco 5 Piece Cute Gold Desk Organizer Set.

Desk chair

A good desk chair is not only comfortable but also looks good. It should pull the whole office look together like a good pair of shoes does. I think this AmazonBasics Classic Adjustable Office Desk Chair and Ergonomic Executive Chair do that.

Computer monitor

Having a computer monitor comes in handy when you have to look at a spreadsheet, or multiple spreadsheets at once. I was able to bring my monitor from the office home but once things get back to normal I may buy my own monitor like the Sceptre Ultra Thin Frameless LED Monitor or HP Full HD 1080p IPS LED Monitor.

Lighting

Every office needs some light. I have an overhead light already but that doesn’t keep me from liking this Crystal Semi Flush Mount Chandelier or Flush Mount Sputnik Chandelier.

Desk lamps like these geometric ones or these crystal lamps aren’t your typical desk lamps which I really like.

Decor

A home office is not complete without some decor whether for the wall or on the desk or bookshelves. Some of my personal home office decor faves are inspirational art like these watercolors or black and white wall art.

For desks and bookshelves succulent plants, an indoor water fountain, or metal geometric tealight candle holders are good decor options.
