Over the years, I’ve learned that my hair and I like it when I get a relaxer touch-up 10 to 12 weeks after my last touch-up. It’s enough time for me to have over an inch of new growth and for me not get too frustrated with my hair.

This relaxer stretch I ended up going 13 weeks because of the wintery weather we had in North Carolina. We had an ice storm and a snowstorm over two weeks back-to-back. So I ended up with a driveway full of ice, there were ice patches on the road, my stylist wasn’t working for two weeks, and to top it off, I was stuck in Florida for those two weeks.
When I got in my stylist's chair, I was so ready for my relaxer touch-up. Watch this video to find out how it went and the results.
