Healthy Hair Care Gift Ideas $30 And Under

Christmas is just around the corner. And usually, with the Christmas season comes Christmas parties and gift-giving. This is the part that tends to stress me out. Finding the right gift. To determine what gift I'll be giving friends and family for Christmas or other times during the year I think about what they like or are interested in.

If you're in the same boat and have some people on your list who spend time on their hair or have said they'd like to get their hair, you need to check out this list of healthy hair care gift ideas. They are all under $30 so they not only make good gifts but also stocking stuffers.

Scalp massager

These are great tools to have as they can be used to help clean the scalp, relax muscles, and stimulate blood flow in the scalp. You can find several on Amazon for $10 or less.

Bobby pins

You can never have or give enough bobby pins because they always seem to disappear. Plus you can get some really pretty ones that can be used more for decoration versus practicality like these Vintage Flower Hair Pins or Gold Geometric Metal Hair Pins.

Satin hair scrunchie

This is perfect for someone who likes to wear their hair up in ponytails or buns often. Satin scrunchies are softer on hair than other hair ties, don't crease the hair like other hair ties, and won't pull on the hair.

If scrunchies aren't the gift recipient's style, maybe Invisibobbles are. I love these hair ties as they can hold my thick hair and my hair doesn't get snagged in them. Plus, they come in several great colors and neutrals.

Store gift card

A $20 dollar gift card at Sally Beauty or Ulta can buy a couple of great products such as shampoo and conditioner.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil

This oil is supposed to help with hair growth. It can be used in hot oil treatments, mixed into deep conditioners, and as a scalp massage oil. Plus, it can be used on more than just the hair and scalp. It can also be used on the skin and nails.

Hot Head Microwavable Deep Conditioning Cap

This is a great hair product to gift. I've been using this product for several years now. It's perfect for someone who likes to do hot oil treatments or deep condition with heat but doesn't like to be stuck sitting in one place for 15 or more minutes. I share more about this cap and how to use it in this post.

I currently have the Jumbo Rake but there are many to choose from. The magic with the one I have is it's wide-toothed and seamless. So when you use it your hair doesn't get snagged and snapped by the seams in the comb or small teeth. Since I started using this I'm no longer damaging my hair with my comb. You can see it in action in some of my YouTube videos.

Caruso Steam Hair Setter

This is a great way to get soft bouncy curls without using heat and causing heat damage.

Satin pillowcase

Because protecting our hair doesn't end when we go to bed.

  1. Great list. I just got my Hercules Jumbo rake seamless comb in the mail. I'm excited to try it.
