Hair and Beauty Products I’ve Used To The Last Drop

Let’s have some trash talk! And when I say trash talk I mean the empty bottles from the hair and skin care products I’ve used up and will be putting in the trash.

I’ve collected these empty bottles over several months so this is not typical of how many products I go through in a month.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner

I really love this deep conditioner because I can use it in a few different ways. I use it as a pre-poo straight out of the bottle or mixed with natural oils.

I will sometimes use it as a deep conditioner, particularly when I travel because it only needs to be on my hair for a few minutes to work.

Equate Skin Cream Cleanser With Eucalyptus Oil

This facial cleanser is the Walmart store brand version of Noxemza. While the texture is a little different than the Noxzema brand it works just as well for me.

I will sometimes buy the Equate cream cleanser if the Noxzema cream cleanser is out of stock or if I want to save a little money. The Equate is a little cheaper than Noxzema.

I use this cream cleanser at night to help completely wash makeup off my face and from my pores.

Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo

I like to keep a couple of sulfate shampoos around and this is one of them. It’s one a former hair stylist introduced me to. I like that it cleans my hair well without drying it out. I share my full thoughts about the Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo in this review.

Yes To Tomatoes Daily Balancing Moisturizer

I liked this moisturizer. I used it at night since it has no SPF. The moisturizer didn’t irritate my skin and kept my skin looking and feeling moisturized.

I don’t think I’ll buy it again though because I can’t find it in any stores around me and it looks like the brand may have discontinued it.

TGIN Argan Replenishing Hair & Body Serum

I use this hair serum as a sealant when I moisturize my hair during the week. I have found myself using it less because my hair is staying moisturized during the week on its own.

Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray 

It takes me a while to get through this setting spray even though it’s the only one I use. It took me longer than normal this time because I’ve been wearing less makeup during the week and haven’t needed to use it.

The Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray does a good job of keeping my makeup in place and I don’t even feel it on my face.

Mielle White Peony Leave In Conditioner 

There are two empty bottles of this because I use it every time I wash my hair and I use quite a bit of it. When my hair is wet and I’m drying it I use this leave-in conditioner.

The Mielle White Peony Leave In Conditioner has some heat-protecting aspects and it does a good job of adding light moisture to my hair.

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum 

Another product I have two bottles of is The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum. It has helped me keep my skin clear and lessen oil production on my face.

I use this serum day and night. This means I can go through it faster than other skin products I use but a bottle does last me a while.

TGIN Miracle RepaiRx Anti- Breakage Serum

I used up a lot of serums over the last few months. This one from TGIN is another favorite of mine. I use it mostly on my freshly washed hair when I’m blow drying or roller setting my hair. The serum helps my hair feel smooth and soft no matter how I dry it.

Mielle Thermal & Heat Protectant Spray

When I’m not using the Mielle White Peony Leave-in Conditioner as heat protection I’ll use this heat protectant spray. It helps my hair dry quickly without drying out my hair. It also helps with avoiding frizz as my hair drys.

Mielle Rosemary Mint Scalp & Hair Strengthening Oil 

It took me a while to go through this bottle because I stopped consistently using it on my scalp. There was no specific reason other than I got out of the habit of applying it.

I plan to start using this oil again because it’s lightweight and helps my scalp feel good. I’ll have to pay more attention this time to see if it helps with hair growth.
